WARDOGS Arsenal

WARDOGS system requirements

The interesting part of this listing is not the hardware. It is that each tier comes with a stated resolution, preset and frame rate, which turns two vague labels into something you can actually check a machine against.

Read the small print on the minimum tier

The word doing the work is upscaled. The minimum specification is not a promise of 1080p60 rendered at 1080p — it is 1080p60 with upscaling doing part of the job at the lowest preset. If you are sitting on a GTX 1660-class card, that is the experience being described, in a mode that puts a hundred players in one zone with vehicles and destruction.

Memory does not move between the tiers

16 GB appears in both columns, which is unusual and worth noticing: it means system memory is treated as a floor rather than a dial. If you have 16 GB you meet both tiers on that line; if you have 8 GB, no graphics card fixes it.

Settings that changed at launch

The Season 1 pass touched performance behaviour directly: frame generation can now be turned off without restarting the game, the render target pool became configurable, shadow cache refreshes were reduced to cut hitching, and shadow quality on high-benchmark machines is now clamped to Low rather than disabled outright. Guides written during the beta describe the old behaviour. The full list is on the patch timeline.

Before you conclude it is your hardware

A large share of launch-window crash reports are not performance at all — they are the protection layer refusing to start the executable. If the game will not launch rather than running badly, start at the anti-cheat page. And if you are on Linux or a Deck, that is a different answer entirely.
