Privacy
WARDOGS Arsenal is a static site. There are no accounts, no logins, and nothing on it asks you for personal information. It does run two analytics services and one advertising network, and this page says plainly what each of them collects.
Analytics
Two analytics services run on this site, and it is worth being specific about what each one does rather than calling both of them “analytics”.
- Google Analytics 4 counts visits and records which pages get used. Its enhanced measurement is on, which means it also records scroll depth, clicks that leave the site, file downloads and site searches — not only page views. Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off in its configuration.
- Microsoft Clarity records sessions. That is genuinely more than counting: it captures pointer movement, clicks and scrolling so that pages can be replayed and aggregated into heatmaps. Saying this site “only collects anonymous statistics” would be false while Clarity is installed, so it does not say that. It does not start until you click, scroll or press a key; a visit where you only read loads nothing from Microsoft. Once it starts, Microsoft’s servers set their own cookies on clarity.ms and bing.com.
Both set their own identifiers. Neither is used to build a profile of you here, and this site does not attempt to identify individual visitors. You can confirm exactly which scripts load by viewing source on any page.
Advertising
The home page and some of the most-read pages show ads from Adsterra. Banner and sponsored-card ads load inside their own frames, and from then on Adsterra and the advertisers it serves receive what any web request carries, including your IP address, your browser details and the address of the page, and may set their own cookies to choose ads and count them. On those pages an Adsterra script can also open one extra browser tab behind the one you are reading, the first time you click; that tab shows an advertiser’s page. No ads or ad scripts appear on this page, the terms, the sources list or the about page.
What this site itself stores
Nothing on a server. The one piece of state the site keeps — which item you selected in the cost planner — lives in the address bar so that a link can be shared, which means it travels in the URL you copy and nowhere else.
What reaches Cloudflare
The site is served as static files from Cloudflare, so ordinary web server request logs exist at that layer, as they do for any website. This site does not query them.
Opting out
A content blocker, or a browser that blocks third-party scripts, stops analytics and ads from loading entirely. Nothing on this site depends on any of them working.
