Is WARDOGS crossplay?
The honest answer is that the question does not have a subject yet. One platform is live. Crossplay describes a relationship between two, and the second one has no date.
What is actually true right now
Every player is on Windows, in the same matchmaking pool, so in practice everyone you meet is on your platform. There is a second dimension that is live and worth knowing about: alongside official servers, the game supports community-hosted servers through three approved hosting partners, so “which server am I on” is a real question even though “which platform” is not. That distinction matters for moderation, where the studio’s own advice points at community servers.
The two things people mean by this question
| What is being asked | Status |
|---|---|
| Crossplay — can a console player join a PC match? | Not described. No console version exists to join from. |
| Cross-progression — does my cash and my track XP follow me? | Not described across platforms. On PC it is account-level and carries between matches — see cash and progression. |
The trigger to watch
Crossplay is normally announced with the console version, not before it, because it is a certification-time decision. So the thing to watch is not a crossplay statement in isolation — it is the console announcement, and specifically whether it says anything about shared lobbies and shared accounts. If that announcement arrives and is silent on both, that silence is itself informative.
